Swing Mounting medals is the traditional way medals were mounted. It is a much easier way to mount military medals and can save you alot of money compared to Court Mounting.

Swing Mount is when the appropriate ribbon is used to suspend the medal on a mounting bar. This means you can easily view both the front and the back of the medal (usually the back is more interesting), and still be able to wear it on a jacket or shirt.
